Magically Delicious
The Album

Lucky Charms exists to make mornings more magical but as kid culture evolves, so must Lucky. We needed to grow relevance with a whole new generation of kids with activities that parents would be excited to take part in. We developed a new ‘edutainment’ platform for Lucky that created books, songs and even a karaoke experience that were entertaining but also educational, sharing wholesome themes that everyone could enjoy.

Lucky has been singing the same tune for nearly 60 years, we knew he was a star, but we knew he yearned for a bigger stage away from the breakfast table so we worked with Universal Music to create a full length, 8 -track, charm filled, dance album, launching on Spotify for kids and families to move and groove to. Each track is dedicate to one of Lucky’s eight magic charms, spanning eight different musical genres – from EDM to K-Pop!

the magic inside storybook

57 years after his first appearance, we were given the opportunity to create and tell Lucky the Leprechaun’s origin story for the first time. This 77-page chapter book tells the story of young Lucky - the son of a Leprechaun father and human mother. Feeling not quite leprechaun enough and not quite human enough, he sets out on a magical journey where he discovers what it means to be yourself when you don’t seem to fit anywhere else.

Tay Diggs of Reading Rainbow fame did a special live reading of the storybook, and the book was distributed nation in Little Free Libraries across the country.
